GTA VI: The Album is announced for November 19, 2026 with 34 original tracks. Rockstar provides digital pre-save and physical CD or vinyl routes. The album is a separate music product, not the game or a complete list of every song heard through GTA VI's radio and other music systems.

What Rockstar announced, and what is current now
Rockstar's September 17, 2026 announcement introduced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album for November 19. The official music hub currently describes a 34-track release of original music, with digital pre-save and physical preorder links. This gives music fans something concrete to follow alongside the game: a named album, a stated release date and official routes to hear or order it.
The album date matches GTA VI's scheduled game release, but the purchases are separate. Buying the music does not put the game in a PS5 or Xbox library. Buying the game does not, by itself, prove you have ordered a physical album. Keep the two receipts apart if you want both.
Since the original announcement, Rockstar's music page has become a useful place to explore album singles and preview selected radio stations. The two sections serve different purposes. Use the album area to learn about this release and the radio area to sample stations. There is no need to label everything on the page as one complete soundtrack list.
Album, radio and score are different parts of the music
An album is a release you can listen to outside the game. A radio station is part of the game's world, where songs and presentation can form a particular mood. A score supports scenes or action. These can all belong to the same broad musical identity while having different track lists and different ways of reaching a listener.
That distinction prevents a common mistake: treating 34 original album tracks as the total number of songs GTA VI will contain. Rockstar's music page discusses radio separately. A song used in a trailer, a station preview or a cutscene also needs its own identification before it belongs in an album track list.
For the same reason, a streaming playlist with GTA VI in its title is not automatically an official inventory. It may mix confirmed music with guesses or songs inspired by the setting. That can still be enjoyable listening, but it is a different product from a verified album. Follow links from Rockstar's music hub when you want the intended release.
How to explore the singles without guessing a full track list
The current hub offers selected singles by artists including Yung Lean, Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Fuerza Regida, Rauw Alejandro, Cardi B and Keith Richards, along with a collaboration involving CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy. That range is a practical invitation to sample the music before buying a physical format.
Listen for what you like rather than expecting every track to fit one genre or one remembered version of Vice City. A wide artist list can mean that some songs become favorites while others do not. Try several selections and, when available, their full official listening routes. One short social-media clip is a poor basis for judging a long release.
The store pages describe six debut singles while the current hub presents a wider selection. Those are different snapshots of the promotion, not proof that the complete album has only six or eight songs. Use the stated 34-track album description and wait for a confirmed full track list before assigning every artist to a final position.
Digital pre-save: check what you are agreeing to
A digital pre-save is a way to connect an upcoming release with a music service. Follow the official route and read the selected service's screen before continuing. It should be clear which account you are using and what you are authorizing. Do not assume that a button has bought a download, ordered a CD or provided permanent offline music files.
Different services can have their own listening plans, account terms and offline options. Choose the service you actually use. If you prefer not to connect an account before release, you can note the album date and return to the official link later. Enjoying the album does not require completing every promotional action in advance.
Check the release in your chosen music app when it arrives rather than relying on a screenshot from another country. Availability and the service's display can vary. If something is missing, verify the official artist or album route before installing another app or paying for another subscription. The goal is to reach the music with the account you meant to use.
CD and vinyl serve different listeners
The Rockstar Store describes the Standard CD with the full album and an artwork booklet in a jewel case. Its Standard Vinyl listing describes two black records. Those are useful format details, but they do not make one choice better for every listener. Choose the format that matches the equipment and collecting habits you have.
If you want to play the music on a CD player, check that you have a working player rather than assuming every current computer or console contains one. If you want vinyl for listening, consider your turntable and audio setup. Buying a record solely for the sleeve is also a valid collector choice when you understand that this is what you value.
Do not assume a physical music order includes a separate digital download or streaming membership unless the exact listing says so. Likewise, an exclusive label does not tell you by itself which artwork, packaging or other content differs. Compare the written descriptions of the versions currently offered. Similar promotional images can conceal small but meaningful product differences.
Check total price, stock and delivery for the exact version
Use the live seller listing to check whether you can actually order in your country. A product page can remain visible while a particular version is not available. A Coming Soon label, an out-of-stock message and a successful checkout are different states. Do not turn an old announcement into a promise that every physical variant remains available.
Record the exact format and version with its final checkout total. Include delivery and any other charge the seller shows. Comparing a vinyl sticker price with a CD's delivered total can make an offer look better or worse than it is. The fair comparison uses the product you want and the amount you will actually pay.
November 19 is the announced album release date. Physical dispatch and arrival still depend on the seller. If the order is a gift, check whether the listed date refers to release, shipping or estimated delivery. A present intended for a particular evening needs a delivery plan, not just a matching date on the game and album announcements.
Keep music collecting separate from game editions
Standard and Ultimate describe game editions in this buying context. Standard and Exclusive on an album listing describe music products. Those words do not create a link between the purchases. A GTA VI Ultimate game order should be judged by its listed in-game contents, while a physical album should be judged by its own format and package.
The Goodtime State Vice City Collection is another separate collector purchase with its own contents. If you want the game, album and collection, give each its own budget line and delivery record. That makes it clear which order you are waiting for and avoids a duplicate purchase when one confirmation email has a familiar game title.
For a music-loving gift recipient, an album may be exactly the right choice even if they do not own a supported console. For someone who only wants to play, the game should come first. The useful part of the album announcement is a new way to enjoy the world around GTA VI, with enough product detail to choose it on its own terms.
Make a format choice that lasts beyond launch week
Consider where you will actually listen a month after release. A commuter using a phone may get more use from the normal streaming route than a record left sealed on a shelf. A vinyl collector with a working setup may enjoy the larger physical package. If a gift is involved, match the recipient's equipment instead of your own preferred format.
You can also wait to hear more music before choosing a physical version. If a limited variant matters to you, read its live availability and accept that waiting may change the choice. The decision should come from the format or object you want to own, rather than an assumption that buying the album is required to experience the game's music.
